What's On

The Red Lion is situated in the heart of Somerset, on the edge of the Levels, close to both the town of Glastonbury, home of the iconic Glastonbury Festival and a short drive to the Bath & West Showground, and its world class shows and events.

From our location, you can explore all that Glastonbury and the diverse surrounding area has to offer.

If you want to avoid using the car, there are plenty of interesting walks around the village of West Pennard offering stunning views of the mystical tor.

Otherwise, within just a few miles, you can access brilliant walking and cycle routes; sightseeing in Wells, England’s smallest city; shopping in the famous Clarkes Outlet village; the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels, and the beaches at Burnham and Weston-Super-Mare

If you fancy venturing further afield for the bright city lights, we are an easy 50 minute drive to both Bristol and Bath.

There are also regular events at the pub including a monthly quiz night, skittles, live music nights, Morris Dancing and the annual Wassail.
